These days, constantly emerging mobile devices are increasingly winning popularity from customers demanding many more app experts. They, of course, need to work hard to keep customers happy and provide state-of-the-art efficient mobile apps. gadgets are not at all luxury anymore. Gadgets have become a vital part of our everyday life. Smartphones help us throughout the day. A recently finished project of an Israeli developer is a great example of how such phones help is in our daily routine.
It is rather hard to use mobile devices and drive simultaneously, yet many drivers neglect the danger. Pictup (Israel), which works with creating smartphone apps and deals with embedded software development, has decided to help drivers avoid traffic problems. Road risks can now be prevented due to a special iOnRoad application, functioning with the help of a camera and sensors, which warn a motorist about possible risks.
The mobile gadget needs to be tightly fixed to the front window, then it will function productively to overcome road dangers. The program has a two-mode run. The first augmented reality mode makes it possible for motorists to observe the road situation with the help of a screen which shows cars, their speed and distance. The second background mode warns the motorist with audio and video signals about possible dangers 1-2.5 seconds before crash.
In the first case, the application can define the time before the crash which will automatically appear on the display in front of a photo of a potentially risky vehicle from the flow. The second mode is more for the motorists who are running a navigation gadget on their car.
So far, the product of the Israeli application software developer will only be available for Android gadgets. experts claim it will take them around 2-3 months to work out apps for other mobile platforms. The complete version release is planned for the end of July. A beta-version is available at this stage.
